Founded in 1973, today's Summer Classics is a far cry from its humble beginnings as a plastic umbrella base manufacturer. Today the company produces a wide range of wrought iron, aluminum, resin wicker and fabric sling outdoor furniture in a variety of fresh, attractive designs. Lagos, Portuguese word for 'lake', is an ancient maritime town on the country's southernmost point. Summer Classic's Lagos is fully woven marine-grade resin over an aluminum frame in a transitional square weave design.
